INFORMATION:
Kanno began her career as a member of a group called Sakurakko Club Sakura Gumi, and debuted with the group as of their second single. This group also had their own variety show entitled "Sakurakko Club". Even while participating in this group though, she began to seek out other opportunities for herself in the entertainment world.

In 1993 she made her TV drama debut in "Twins Kyoushi", and continued to appear in dramas with regularity since then. Several all of her roles won her acclaims for her great acting.

Sakura Gumi disbanded in 1995, and Kanno began her career as a solo musician after that. She continued to release singles (and one album) through 2000 (the year she released a cover of Echoes' "Zoo ~ai wo kudasai~ under drama character name Hasui Shuka). Since then she has focused mainly on acting.
