INFORMATION:
C-ute is a group that was formed in 2006, as a part of Tsunku's Hello! Project family. The group consisted of 7 girls chosen from the Hello! Kids unit, who were not previously chosen for the Berryz Koubou group that was formed before this one. C-ute's debut single, "sakura chirari", debuted at #3 on the Oricon charts, something that no other previous Hello! Project group was able to achieve with their debut single. In October 2006, member Murakami Megumi left the group suddenly, and without any traditional Hello! Project graduation ceremony. Member Arihara was inducted on January of 2006, from the group "Hello Pro Egg".
