INFORMATION:
Sonim started her career in a duo produced by Tsunku of Hello! Project fame, called EE Jump. The other half of the duo was H!P member Gotou Maki's brother, Gotou Yuki. The group was dissolved due to Yuki's "after hours" activities in strip bars, however. The group was turned into "EE Jump feat. Sonim", and then quickly became Sonim's solo act, without any Yuki involvement at all. Since EE Jump never really took off to great heights, Sonim had some difficulties getting her solo career in gear at first. She had to do quite a bit of street performing and such.
