INFORMATION:
This group is part of Johnny's Jimusho, and stands for "Sports Music Assemble People". At it's debut, this group included a sixth member, Katsuyuki Mori, who left in 1996 to pursue a career in motorcycle racing. The members have appeared in various TV commercials, dramas, and movies throughout their careers. They even host a long running variety show, hosted by the members themselves, called "Smap x Smap". On this show they have everything from cooking segments to comedy skits. Some of the members have also had various solo projects. Examples of these include Shingo's "Shingo Mama" and "Hattori Kanzou", as well as Goro's "&G".
