"hina matsuri" is celebrated anually on March 3rd, and is a time to pray for the well being of young girls. The literal meaning of "hana
matsuri" however, is "Doll's Festival". This is because most homes with young girls will set up a display of hina ningyo (hina dolls).
Once upon a time the dolls were handmade, but since this has been a national holiday for some time, they are now mostly mass
produced. Also in the lyrics, Mini Moni will pronounce "matsuri" as "machuri" and "gozaimasu" as "gojaimasu". This is basically just a
mispronounciation of the word to make it sound cute.

Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
We'll wear our kimonos
And together we'll have a fun Girl's Festival
Yeah, yeah!
I've got some mochi
There are peach blossom flowers
Let's put up the decorations, ah yeah!
The Girl's Festival is all year long
If possible, every day would be the Girl's Festival
Girls make a wish
Sometimes it's that they want to go to the doll stand
With someone
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
We're going out in kimonos
And together we'll have a fun Girl's Festival
Yeah, yeah!
Cookies there, there, there, and there
Boys are munching them down too
Let's go and talk to them, ah yeah!
It's the Girl's Festival all over the world
Hand in hand, the Girl's Festival
Boys make a wish too
To join forces and protect
That's what they wish for
It's the Girl's Festival all over the world
Hand in hand, the Girl's Festival
Boys make a wish too
To join forces and protect
That's what they wish for
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
Mini Moni Girl's Festival!
