There is some major word play going on in this song. You'll have to look at the Japanese version of the lyrics to understand it, since I just romanized it how it's sung. When they sing "yuukan na dream", in the Japanese lyrics it's written "You can now dream" with "yuukan na dream" after it in parentheses. This is because they sound alike, say them both out loud. There are several other instances of this in the song too. This is the opening them to the Inu Yasha anime.

Brandishing a brave dream
Run through the vague world
I fight against reality, it's become depressing
In my heart, I grow into a hero
The dream I had last night, the after image
It strikes up my pulse saying "Alright, go!"
Tearing my own color
The swelling future
Will I forcibly lock it away?
Brandishing a brave dream
A forceful try, repeated worry
You too go toward the endless days
Will we cry in the same way, together in loneliness?
Fight with honesty, when you cry
Become an unshaking dream
Your confidence is stronger than a superman's
Your resolution more firm than an alloy's
Aiming the heart of a bullet at cowardice
It's alright to pull the trigger
Using the power from your ectasy
Will you once again retrace your steps
In the past that you broke through?
A brave dream, with that
A vague world, I run through it's arsenal
Eliminating confusion, toward tomorrow
A goal of laurels, we'll reach it
Let's depict ourselves in dreams
Beyond many mornings
A vivid wish, longingly
A shining prairie not on the map
Today is waiting for us
Brandishing a brave dream
A forceful try, repeated worry
You too go toward the endless days
Will we cry in the same way, together in loneliness?
Fight with honesty, when you cry
Become an unshaking dream
