Lyrics : Alpaslan Dikmen on behalf of ultrAslan
Japanese Lyrics : DJ OZMA Music : Alpaslan Dikmen on behalf of ultrAslan | 作詩:Alpaslan Dikmen on behalf of ultrAslan
日本語詞:DJ OZMA 作曲:Alpaslan Dikmen on behalf of ultrAslan |
This is a cover of the song "garatasarai" (that may not be the actual Turkish, I'm just romanizing it from Japanese), which is the official support song for the Turkey Soccer Club Team. This was also the official theme song of the DJ Ozma tour entitled "DJ OZMA Produce "club Royale" karei naru jungyou 2008 yoru utage ~otoko tachi no banka~".
Alright, there are a lot of notes about this song! First of all, Roppongi is in the Minato ward of Tokyo, and is famous for having a lot of night life (night clubs, etc.) and expensive shopping. Also Roppongi typically has a large amount of Western tourists in it at any given time, due to its large amount of night life. The term "tsundere" does not really have a nice neat translation. It is a word to describe a Japanese female that has a very confrontational and argumentative personality, but turns out to actually be very loving once you get past the rough exterior. This word was coined by otaku, and is used to refer to characters of this type in games, anime, manga, novels, and has even extended to real figures in the mass media. Ganguro is a word that refers to a fashion trend for girls that involves blond or orange hair and extremely tanned skin (prominent makeup is typically a part of it as well). This trend peaked around 2000, and remains today. The centers of Ganguro fashion are in the Shibuya and Ikebukuro wards of Tokyo. There are also many different Japanese locations mentioned in this song: Souemonchou is located in Osaka prefecture in the Namba ward. Nakasu is an entertainment district in Fukuoka prefecture in Fukuoka city, between the sandbank of the Naka river and the Hakata river (it's also a major red-light district). Hakata is another ward located in Fukuoka prefecture. Pontochou is a district in Kyoto prefecture, home to many geisha and traditional tea houses. Kokubunchou is located in Sendai prefecture in the Aoba ward. Isezakichou is located in Kanagawa prefecture in the Naka ward (It is made up mostly of the Isezakichou Shopping Street). There are also a few non Japanese locations and phrases: Fujian is a province on the southeast coast of China, and "moumantai" is the Japanese romanization of a Cantonese phrase with a meaning similar to "it's alright". Seoul is the capital city of South Korea, and also the largest city in South Korea. "kenchanayo" is the Japanese romanization of a Korean phrase with a meaning similar to "it's alright". Phuket is a southern province in Thailand, and "maipenrai" is a Thai phrase with a meaning similar to "it's alright". |
