Yaeyama are a series of islands in Okinawa, and Misaki is a cape at the northern tip of Okinawa main island. Gasami is a blue crab that is native to Okinawa. The sanshi is a stringed instrument that's basically Okinawa's version of the shamisen (traditional Japanese stringed instrument). "The sorrowful Asadoya" refers to "Asadoya Yunta". "Asadoya Yunta" is a song that originated in Okinawa about a woman named Asadoya nu Kuyama, who was brave enough to reject a wedding proposal from a government official. Orion beer is a beer that is distributed in Okinawa, brewed by the Orion Brewery (together with Asahi Brewery). The "Manta Scramble" is an Okinawan event from spring to fall, in which there is a high probability of seeing Mantas. Therefore, divers from all over Japan come to Okinawa for this.
