Dragon Ash

We were born into this era, without even knowing the meaning of it
I take a short nap, without caring about the time that's passed
Things go as they always do, beneath the square sky
The sun shines brightly outside of the window, bringing about another new day
When I put on shoes that I just have lying around, I shouldn't be able to fly through the sky
It's as though a small wall stands before my eyes
We're like this when the sky beyond the sea is dyed red
I'm gonna break down that small wall, and begin whatever's next, so

Yeah, it looks like I'm going to reach that far away place that we could see the birds at, back then
Now, I set fire to this sublimely red blood that flows from my body

I held my oath high, with courage; The world passes by as though laughing through its nose
Let's run through it together, our generation will repaint this era
Yeah, crouching alone in a dark room and not doing anything, that's cowardice
When I look the other way, saying "time will settle it", without changing, then I'll stay as I am
I wanted to know the significance of standing right here, so we fought frantically
Having won, I stuff my small amount of pride into my pocket, and try standing here yet again
I've got a bit of a proud look on my face
Soon, I'll be able to see you guys, smiling smiles that go across your whole faces, before my eyes

Well, the light shines on the place up ahead that I'm headed for; when I see the clouds scatter
I embrace all of the pain in my heart, so much that I can't stand it

The laughter that sounded out incessantly during my boyhood, which I passed in an unbound way
And the dreams that irresponsibly painted, they aren't resounding out anymore now, like they were in past conversations
I get yet another headache, it starts to swell up
Scared of the waves of time, I don't even have the time to search for a way out; I'm shaken by the flow that is carved in, moment by moment
Yet, your warmth always silently envelops me
Even though it continues on, even though it reaches me, I'm at my stopping point, doing nothing
Things won't begin like this, there's no help for you when you're asleep
So I walk of my own free will, and don't get lost in the wonderous moment
