For some reason the word "omoide" was turned into "omohide" in this song. I guess you can look at it as there being just a bit more of an "h" sounds before the "i". If anyone has any idea what "Rokuronrii" or "Shukemaari" mean, please let me know. They seem to not have any uses elsewhere in the Japanese language, save for this song. |
The glittering morning seems as though it's about to end
On the wayside grass that I wander about aimlessly on, today
The bright red sun passed through the sky
Tomorrow, that was floating through the sky
In the lonely and sparkling night
I looked at the first beautiful star in the sky
It's not enough, not enough, not enough
On starry nights, I always recite those words
I say "thank you", just like a child
The things that I wished for, back when we first met
Tomorrow too, I want to be myself
The things that I laughed about on starry nights
They're memories now
My chest is tight
Each of us engrossed in seperate things
Fly, you don't need a reason
Rokuronrii, together we saw paradise
Shukemaari, together we saw paradise
It's not enough, not enough, not enough
On starry nights, I always recite those words
I say "thank you", just like a child
My wishes seem to be accumulating
I drew them out with a pencil
The road that I walked on a starry night
Is a memory now
My chest is tight
Let both of us be free
Grow to love me
Let's be children
Sometimes, I think back upon it
Each of us engrossed in seperate things
Go, you don't need a reason
The glittering morning seems as though it's about to end
On the wayside grass that I wander about aimlessly on, today
The bright red sun passed through the sky
Tomorrow, that was floating through the sky
In the lonely and sparkling night
I looked at the first beautiful star in the sky
