| Shingo Mama is the alter ego of SMAP's Katori Shingo. Shingo Mama is part of Saturday SMAP's variety show, where he will travel to a random household and cook breakfast and lunch for the entire family. This song is the theme song for the segment, and turned into a widely successful single. "oha" is a shortened version of "ohayo gozaimasu" or "good morning". It is widely used among children and teenagers in Japan as a more informal morning greeting. "oha de mayo chuchu" is something Shingo Katori uses as a play on words.. It refers to the words "Mayonnaise" and "chu" which is a cute way to say "kiss". "Mayo kiss" refers to Shingo Mama's obsession with mayonnaise and the portion of his show where he makes ALL of the family kiss him goodbye before they go off to school or work, so it really would mean "morning mayonnaise kiss". |
