It was a challenge to figure out which way I should translate the title to this song. On one hand, the phrase "hana uta" itself (usually written with different kanji than we see in the title here, incidentally) mean "humming". However, "hana uta" was written with two completely different kanji in this case, suggesting that the title might be more along the lines of "flower song". The subject matter of the song itself just confirms that.

Ahh, the flowers bloom, there's no reason for it
But above me, with sagging shoulders, they smile in a dignified way
And at random, they bloom in full, it's not very remarkable
A dancing storm of falling cherry blossoms, all for me, who seems about to cry
Reflected in the mirror of this thinned out era
If I was a person with dry lips
Then I would probably hurt you, with your too gentle
Smile and lips, just by kissing you
Ahh, a bird flys, he's not in any hurry
He splits the dirty blue sky
Before I feel ashamed of my helpless self
I'll spread my wings to the winds of despair; dance, falling cherry blossoms
Because of a righteousness called common sense
I can't help you with a single one of your problems
Even though I'm wrong, and even though I know my sins
I won't lose sight of what I really wish for
We're here, and the meaning of that can't be taken away from us
That's unchanging, from now on, even right here
And I start to walk along, it's alright if I get lost
In the dead center of an unending road, I believe in tomorrow
Even if it's silently, come on and tell me what's on your mind; the cherry blossom trees that are in bull floom are cheering you on
Ahh, the flowers bloom, there's no reason for it
But above me, with sagging shoulders, they smile in a dignified way
And at random, they bloom in full, it's not very remarkable
A dancing storm of falling cherry blossoms, all for me, who seems about to cry
La~lalalalala...
A dancing storm of falling cherry blossoms, all for me, who seems about to cry
And now, I'll sing a heartfelt song for you
