I stand still in a city that flows
I can't find a smile
Hanging my head, so that I won't be hurt
I begin to walk at a quick pace

I let out some of my irritation
From hitting my shoulder
But when I looked back over there
I'm there, hanging my head

I always run away from even my dreams, like this
I want my frozen feelings to thaw, woo
One day, when I can get over how I am now
I'll be able to walk without
The sound of footsteps going back and forth

So many words overflow so much
I can't find the truth
My eyes are cloudy, and reflect my heart
I had forgotten how to brighten them up

The trees that are swaying in the wind, play the music of the city
I want to teach those lips that are now whispering, to sing a song

I had always wished that I would be loved
And was afraid of loving
Even if today will just be the past repeating itself
I don't want to stop searching for junk
That should change into my wings

I've always known that being like this is useless
Just let "like this" be over with, yeah
One day, when I can get over how I am now
I'll be able to walk without
