Happa tai is a group of several of Japan's well known comedians (members of Unchan Nanchan, Neptune, and Bibiru), who originally performed this song as a skit on popular Japanese comic show "Warau Inu No Bouken" ("The Adventures of a Laughing Dog"). It was such a hit, that they released it as a single, and it swept Japan the year that this occured. It was even somewhat of an international hit, as this group appeared on the American talk show of late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
