Information:
Hajime started to learn to play the shamisen (a three stringed Japanese traditional instrument, vaguely resembling a guitar) in grade school at her mother's insistance, and began to learn "shima uta", or "island songs". Hajime is from Amami Oshima, and her style of vocals is distinctive to that area.
