Chata began activity in 1998. She began her start by contributing songs online in a Niftyserve forum for original MIDI compositions. In 2003 she was signed to an indies label as a vocalist, and released her first album. She would make her major label debut in 2007.

Chata has also done voice acting for several games, and her music has been featured in many.
