This indies group formed in 2001. The group's name came from the title of a song they liked by the bloodthristy butchers.

The group originally had three members (Yokouchi Takamasa was the third), but Yokouchi withdrew from the group in favor of his other project called THE LOCAL ART. Afterward a former underclassman of Kaihoku's named Enomoto Kiyotaka became a support member, and an official member in September 2002. However on July 19 2006, Enomoto would leave the group due to musical differences. After that Yayoshi Junji (Guitar), Arie Yoshinori (Bass, formerly with VIOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE), and Watanabe Shunsuke (Keyboards, formerly with cafelon) would join as support members. Also Kaihoku would switch from playing bass to guitar.
