This group's name is sometimes abbreviated to "Japahari".

This group originally formed in 1999. As an indies group they crowded live houses all over Shikoku. In 2004 they would receive a Japan Gold Disc award for New Artist of the Year. They would become known for their incredibly energetic and physically tasking live performances.

On 6/13/2007, the group would announce its breakup on the official homepage. Kido would go to Tokyo to pursue solo activities. Kashima and Ryouichi would join a group called "Nippo Rihito" with vocalist Shiraishi Hidenori, also in Tokyo. Nakata would leave the world of music, and continue his education.
