In 2004, SHOWTA. participated in the Yamaha ongaku shinkou kai (Yamaha Music Promotional Convention)'s Teens Music Festival (TMF) as a representative from eastern Japan. She would then go on to register in Yamaha Music Quest, to be scouted as a pro musician.
