Information:
Shimizu's grandmother ran a karaoke box establishment, so Shimizu has been singing karaoke ever since he was 3 years old.

After graduating high school, Shimizu attended a local school of music in Osaka called "Kyaresu DaiOsakakou", where he would study Gospel. It was at this time that he became interested in soul music.

Though Shimizu debuted with his own solo work in 2008, he had activity with Douji-T (the single "One Love" in 2007) and Katou Milliya ("I'm Your Angel" on a Celine Dion tribute album in 2007).
