244 ENDLI-x is actually a clever play on words when you look at one possible Japanese pronunciation of the name: Tsuyoshi Endlix. 244 ENDLI-x is actually a solo project of Doumoto Tsuyoshi of the Johnny's Jimusho group KinKi Kids, as well as Endlicheri*Endlicheri (the previous incarnation of 244 ENDLI-x).

The 244 ENDLI-x project is meant to take the progressive/funky sound of Endlicheri*Endlicheri and give it more of an electronic/techno feel.
