Information:
This group was formed from a contest that Avex opened up in 2000 called "Avex Dream 2000". They were auditioning for members for a new female vocal group. The group originally consisted of 3 members: Matsumuro Mai, Tachibana Kana, and Hasebe Yu. In 2002, Mai decided to leave the group (she was the primary song writer). Avex held auditions for a replacement, but ended up with 6 new girls to add to the group. Thus Dream is as it is today.
