Known best as just "Demon Kogure" (the "kakka" translates into "His Excellency", something Demon often appends to the end of his name), he was the vocalist of the well known heavy metal group Sekima II ("Seikimatsu"), up until they disbanded in 1999. Demon Kogure is debateably one of the most amusing characters in all of Japanese entertainment. He bills himself as a real life Demon, playing on earth as an entertainer. In addition to being a musician, he is also known to sometimes commentate sumo wrestling matches. He's also appeared in many TV commercials throughout the years. He claims to have completed his conquest of the world on December 31 1999 (the final day that Seikima II was together as a group), and says that his real name is unpronounceable to us earthlings. In 2000, Demon also had a brief (and unsucessful) solo project under the name "Exclamation" ("!"), where he took a departure from his normal heavy metal sound.
