Amano (who started into music by learning piano at age 5), is primarily known for many of her songs being used as themes to popular commercials, TV animes, movies, and video games. On her official site, she also authors her own comic book, and her own artwork appears on many of her CD covers, and on her promotional material. She also designs many of the costumes that she wears in her promotional videos, as well as on stage at her concerts.
