Ogura is primarily known for being a gravure idol (Gravure idols pose in various states of undress, but never nude or doing anything sexually explicit). She made her debut as a Gravure idol in 2001, and would later break out into the music world as well.

Ogura claims that she is "Ringo Momoka hime" (Princess Apple Momoka) of "Korin Boshi" (The Planet Korin). It's not entirely clear whether she is joking or not, being that she has such an odd personality.
