Information:
Angela was born from a Japanese father, and an American mother with Italian heritage. She began piano lessons when she was 3 years old, and continued them up until middle school in Japan. At age 15, her family moved to Hawaii. Shortly after she lived in Washington D.C., but eventually came back to Japan. She majored in government/economics, and music in college. From that time, she started becoming active in the Japanese music scene, periodically appearing at clubs or live houses. In 2005 she appeared on Pop Jam, on their segment to introduce new talent. She got an outstanding score from the crowd, which on Pop Jam can be quite a rare thing.
