Inoran was one of the guitarists of popular rock band Luna Sea, which broke up at the end of the year 2000. Inoran released his first solo album during a pause in Luna Sea activities in 1997. He would then release another shortly after Luna Sea's breakup. Inoran has been involved in a project with vocalist Ken Lloyd of Oblivion Dust, called FAKE?. This group was dissolved, however, in favor of joining a new group that formed in 2005. The group is Tourbillion. The members are Kawamura Ryuichi (former Luna Sea Vocalist), Inoran, and Hayami Hiroaki of D-LOOP.
