Information:
Kouno is best known for his involvement in writing and performing (sometimes as a vocalist, but mostly as a musician) anime and video game music. He has also worked with anime music group JAM Project in writing the music for several of their singles, and as a backing musician.

Kouno started his music career in 1984, as a member of the band "MAKE-UP", in which he was a keyboardist and arranger. "MAKE-UP" broke up in 198, and in 1987 he joined the band "urusakute gomen ne BAND" (The Sorry We're So Noisy Band). They would cease activity one year later, but resume activity in 2000. From 1988 to 1992, Kouno joined the group "GRAND-PRIX". Also in 1992, Kouno would form a unit called "Maybe" with Yamada Nobuo. In 2000, he would also become involved with a project called "Osamu Metal 80's".
