The start of Ai's music career was in 1966, with the formation of "Carnabeats". In the 1980's, he joined another group called "Creation". From 1983 and on, he pursued a solo career, performing songs for mostly anime and tokusatsu shows. On 04/01/2006, Ai passed away from a heart failure.
